goodbye

I know my time has ended,
Its time for me to leave.
I want you all to know,
You mean so much to me.
Why I had to go,
Was a mystery to me.
All I heard was God,
Saying “ Please come home to me.”
So I left my friends and family,
I didn’t say goodbye.
All I got to see,
Were the tears in their eyes.
But as I saw them crying,
I asked them not to grieve.
Knowing how much we care,
That our love will never cease.
You can look up at the sky,
And look over to the sea.
When you feel that gentle breeze,
You always think of me.
And when your time comes,
To join me up above.
We will be reunited,
And still, we will have our love.

We may no longer be together
As you're not here with me anymore
But I still feel you deep in my heart
Just the same as it was before.

When I gaze up at Heaven to you
And you look down on me
Our smiles light up the whole sky
For all of Heaven and Earth to see.

Knowing that you are at peace
Brings comfort to my sad heart
And I know God will take care of you
Now that we are apart.

And sharing our heavenly home

The day you left broke our hearts
and the tears fell like rain,
but knowing that you now have wings
helps to ease the pain.

We know now when the snow falls
it is Angel dust from you
and when we see a shooting star
our Angel just passed through.

The rain drops do not make us sad
for they are not tears,
but sprinkles of love falling down,
our Angel again is near.

The winter cold has even changed,
Jack Frost no longer exists,
it's now a visit from our Angel
and he's left a special gift.

You also visit in the night,
your wings flutter with grace,
we know now when we awaken
that an Angel has kissed our face.

When the days are warm and bright
and the sun shines from above,
we feel the warmth wrap around us,

Love

Someone taught you how to love,

You're telling me you're going, leaving this world,
I can't quite understand, my emotions are in a whirl,
Why heaven would be calling you, when I need you so much,
Its acceptance I must strive for, please though keep in touch.

Come visit me in my dreams, come see me when I'm down,
Come brighten up my day as you do so well now,
